MEET DARIUS, THE  GIANT RABBIT

Darius is almost as big as the lucky girl he lives with. If he keeps eating tons and tons of carrots, pretty soon he's going to be much bigger than she is!

He is the Guinness World Record holder for world’s biggest rabbit. Now he weighs 49 pounds, and stretches out to 4 feet, 4 inches long. He comes from a long line of giant rabbits, and his mother Alice held the title before him.

How much do YOU weigh? Are you bigger than Darius, or smaller? And hey, how many carrots do YOU eat in a year? Do you like them plain, or with peanut butter, or dipped in chocolate? What? You never tried that before? Darius will tell you that carrots are GREAT any way you eat them!

ATLAS the giant bunny rabbit is a very snuggly boy, but he's also very curious. Sometimes - well, a lot of the time - that gets him in trouble.

But as long as his humans go on giving him lots and lots of yummy carrots and apples and hay, he's a giant HAPPY boy.
<< This guy is ATLAS, another GIGANTIC bunny boy. He likes to get into trouble, but it's hard to be mad at him for very long, isn't it? Because he's so cute and cuddly and...well, BIG! And are YOU brave enough to tell him, "Sorry, Atlas, but you've had enough carrots for today"?

Everybody's heard of the Easter BUNNY, but have you ever heard of

EASTER EGGER CHICKENS?!?!

​They're called EASTER EGGERS because they lay eggs that look like Easter eggs. The shells are a rainbow of colors: blue, brown, green, aqua, even pink, and the eggs can be small or large, and everything in between.


And what about the family below? They're so gorgeous, maybe they should move to Hollywood. Or...maybe not.
Easter Egger chickens come in lots of different colors and patterns, too. Like the adult chicken on the left...or the little chicks below...

Mary Lainhart, the lady in charge of Wild Heart Mustangs, has some Easter Egger Chickens, and she says that their eggs taste just like regular chicken eggs, no matter what color the shells are. I was kind of hoping for chocolate...what about you?

And, she says they're very friendly. When she goes out to the chicken coop to visit them, they hop up and sit on her like she's their friend...or a piece of furniture!
So, getting back to the diets of giant rabbits...

Are you curious about just how much

Bella the little white bunny says:
That's right. Darius the giant rabbit
ate 4000 carrots last year!
But... carrots are like dessert to rabbits, so our little white rabbit Bella only got to eat 40 carrots, as special treats.
